A few weeks back Professor Peter Gibson was interviewed by National Radio here in New Zealand. Peter is Mr FODMAP, involved in the revolutionary FODMAP study completed at Monash University with dietician Sue Sheppard.
We found Peter’s interview extremely interesting, particularly his advice for IBS suffers. In summary he recommends testing for coeliac disease, if that is negative trying the low FODMAP diet before trying complete gluten free. We were also fascinated to hear about the latest research relating to gluten and depression.
